Perform people else find this a large tightrope walk? This can be quite head boggling!

The Past, Possible future but rarely Present

The corporate world at large demands projections, business ideas, analysis of data and frequent checking of characters – which area of our business should we focus on next, which country should we try to conquer next? A full time job by itself if we don’t have people to help us away! Indonesia business

All of the above serve to keep all of us in either the former or the future. The present moment is short lived and reflects what we have been doing in the past anyway – so why spend a lot time analysing it? Absolutely, by looking at the present moment and where we are – not simply in business, but in our lives – we have a pretty appropriate yardstick of how we have been creating living to date.

Business is a critical Business

Most businesses are run with the aim of making money – yes, I know – I’m stating the obvious! However, isn’t it just this factor that takes the joy away of countless businesses? A little like an one who loves beginner dramatics, nevertheless they determine to transfer to the professional stage the satisfaction dissipates because now their lifestyle is determined by their success. There is a layer of seriousness which now envelopes them and, other than for a fortunate few, it’s not fun any more, but business.

This very seriousness is what scarves people up in knots, makes them tense, pressured and out of touch with their intuition and guidance. There is too much fear of failing and thoughts of not having enough money to support themselves, needing to return back into work that they hate doing just to pay the charges and even the dread of men and women telling them ‘I alerted you so! ‘

There are many levels to starting our own business. It’s about making ourselves vulnerable because we can finally be declined by the world and nobody wants whatever we have to offer. The ultimate rejection! It will require courage to take that leap of faith.

We have to be Excited

Loving what we do is absolutely the only method to have any chance of a prosperous business, and I’m not merely talking about money. I’m sure many of us have had dealings with businesses which have recently been run delightfully – restaurants that serve the most delightful food for example. Then one day we visit our favourite restaurant and the food just isn’t quite of the same quality, the service isn’t quite as personal and, on enquiry, we find that the restaurant has changed hands. The eagerness and energy of the person/people that began it includes gone and, until the restaurant is used over by people with equal passion, absolutely free themes are heading to feel the big difference. Can there be ever the same degree of passion shown for a small business which is already a running concern compared to the one that has been built from scratch with bloodstream, sweat and tears? I actually don’t know, but We doubt it.

It is our energy which operates our business. We can have unlimited funds to throw at it, but unless we have enthusiasm for what we do that money is heading to go down the drain, as customers will sense that we usually are in business for the love from it, but strictly as a way of producing as much money as we can, in as short an occasion as possible. We won’t be present as people that they can trust!

Getting Things into Perspective

I feel that it is imperative to give attention to the present moment to stay sane in business. We may easily be permanently looking at next month, the coming year or 5 years hence as to what our business really should have achieved by then – along with that is all the pressure of trying to make that imaginary path an actual reality. If we have started a company with borrowed money, we also have the stress of having to report in on our successes or failures to meet financial deadlines. Our stress levels rise exponentially if we are in that situation!
